Fellowships with the University at Buffalo School of
Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences offer numerous advantages over
most freestanding programs, as well as over many programs affiliated with other universities.
Some of the benefits of a UB fellowship are:
A faculty appointment at the Clinical Instructor level provides: Opportunities to lecture, precept and participate in
a number of courses in the curriculum; Opportunity to take course work that complements an individual program, with no tuition charge;
Participation in regional Pharmacy Seminar Series where residents and fellows attend lectures targeted at special areas of
interest to postdoctoral trainees; Access to a world-class medical library, including access to full-text
online journals, Medline, and references; Free dial-up Internet access from home.
About UB: University at Buffalo, the State University of New York, is the largest campus in the SUNY system. Nearly 50 research
centers and institutes operate on campus or in the surrounding hospitals. Frequently recognized for their research achievements
and scholarly feats, the University's 4000 full-time and affiliated faculty have been responsible for a great number of major
innovations in academic, research, and professional practice, as well as the development of higher education in general.
